Maas Brothers powder coaters came though for me and delivered all of the powder coated pieces just in time for my weekend reassembly plans. As always, the parts looked fantastic. We also pulled all of the masking material off the canopy and the rest of the airplane and then the reassembly process began. I started with the rudder pedal assemblies and the battery box. I am SO glad I opted to take all of the rudder weldments and pedals out and have them powder coated. Once back in the plane, they just looks so nice! Way better than if I'd of just sprayed the whole thing.
I was particularly pleased with the canopy frame. Mike did an excellent job of taping it off, and the finished product looks so nice with the black trim and highlighting!
